Tastefully Minimalist Disclaimer

We started Tastefully Minimalist to share what we’ve learned on our journey towards a simpler life with the hope of becoming a resource to help guide you on your own journey. In more simple terms, we created Tastefully Minimalist to be the resource we wish we had when first starting out.

A common question we often get asked is “How does Tastefully Minimalist make money?”. We have always believed in being honest and transparent with our audience. In our opinion, that’s the only way to build a community.

Running a website requires significant ongoing investment, both on the infrastructure part as well as on the content creation part.

How Is Tastefully Minimalist Funded?

Referral Fees

We earn referral fees when you buy products and/or services that we recommend. When you click on links to these products/services, you are tagged with a special cookie to track the referral. If you end up buying the product, they pay us a referral fee.

We only recommend products that we believe will add value to our readers. We thoroughly vet and test the products that we recommend. All opinions are our own, and we do not accept payments for positive reviews.

Question #1 – Will it Cost Me More Money?

No. In most cases the cost is the same as linking directly, but in some cases you will save money or receive other bonuses.

Question #2 – Do You See My Personal Details?

No. We don’t see any personal information i.e name, email, address, credit card, etc. The only thing we see is date/time a purchase was made and which product was purchased.

How Can You Help Us?

The best thing you can do to help is sharing our blog posts. We don’t use any paid promotion for the blog and rely solely on social media reach and readers sharing the posts that they like.

Thanks for your support!
